Changing it to iOS 5.1on ifile doesn’t work… It needs iOS 6+ now…

I changed the version in ifile but I’m not able to download whatsapp from AppTimeMachine (on whited00r) or from original appstore.

Earlier it used to say that your version of whatsapp is too old or that whatsapp requires iOS 6 or greater.

After changing the version to 6.0 on iFile… it’s not downloading whatsapp at all.

I tried this and got all the way to deleting the old app. now I can’t download a new version of whatsapp because it’s only giving me the option of downloading the latest version, which requires the newest ios =(

i have followed all the steps given above and i also got ios 5.1 through ifiles but when i install whatsapp from my itunes in pc it shows that this iphone is not compatible with this app.
Please Help..i loved the easy steps and i also have properly jailbreaked my iphone…!!!

Hi I tried this but I keep getting error msgs, that it cannot be downloaded because my version of the iPhone does not support the app. Both through iTunes and the App Store on the phone. How do I download an ipa file free from google? Onto iTunes or what?

Hi Prince, thanks a lot for your blog, but this workaround doesn’t work for me. Below the things I tried and the error reports I get:

AppStore: ‘Unable to Download Application. WhatsApp Messenger will be available for download when you log in to the iTunes Store on your computer.’

Install via iTunes-sync: ‘The app “WhatsApp” was not installed on the iPhone “…” because it is not compatible with this iPhone.’

iPhone Configuration Utility: ‘Could not install application on device. Error: kAMDReceiveMessageError’

iFunbox doesn’t work either.

Could you pleeease help me?

hey jon after follow all the steps . try to download ipa file free from goggle and the install through itunes it will be done.

basically when i try to install the new whatsapp from itunes it gives me an error, if u need the name of the error i will add under, and if i try to download from iphone appstore it says whatsapp will wait until you are logged in on itunes
DONE or RETRY
and both bring to nothing
i have followed all steps perfectly please help
